Let me tell you my horror story. Bought and installed this kit 3 years ago. No problems, still working great. Then they dropped the price. I paid $125.00. Should've waited. Lol.
I think the reason why they dropped the price on those kits because from looking at eBay there seems to be more kits than C3's.

Very affordable too
I stopped by the body shop that's doing my Cuda and they had a Corvette in there with one of those eBay kits and those actuators looked like they were installed a long, long time ago.
Just sayin- you can cut up your headlight assembly- splice wires not rated for under hood use- operates with the parking lights- not get any assistance/install guide or you can plug it in- not cut up your car-don’t have to worry about wires melting and can talk to a human for support.
Your choice

I have a quick question regarding the brackets for your headlight conversion. I bought your kit a few years back and seem to have lost the mounting brackets when I moved. Can I purchase the mounting brackets separately?
I stumbled upon this looking on flea-bay for other things. Great price if they hold up but they advertise instructions are not included and professional installation is recommended. Well nobody that I don't know touches my Corvette and I'm a DYI'er to boot. Anyone use one of these kits and have wired it? Not that I couldn't figure out the wiring part I'm more concerned about the quality and longevity.
Every time I try to save money on stuff like this I end up spending more in the long run, and having frustrations along the way.
I have Richards kit for the wiper door and headlights, though not installed yet. It’s about 3 projects down the list as long as they are working.
sorry for the duplicate. Said it timed out the first time.

It would probably be better and faster if you contact Richard454 via PM vs hoping that he will see your post here. GL
I did try to send him a PM first but it came back saying his PM's were full and would not accept the PM. I will try again though. I also had his email but it must be n old one as it bounced it back to me too.

EDIT: I was able to send him a PM finally.
hey Mike-
I responded via PM- right now dealing with Comcast for my email... They want me to update my password - but it won't let me!!! Frustrating!!!
And Tommy, just because there is a good, affordable answer, doesn't make one a cheapskate.
The difference is knowing the difference between a good affordable answer and just simply throwing money at a problem with unknown results.
True, but when someone tells me they are a cheapskate I cringe. I know what's coming next.....
Is there a way to contact @Richard454 for this kit without private messaging? I just recently joined the forum and this feature is not active yet. I also looking for a reasonably priced kit to convert the wiper arm cover to electric in a 69.

The easiest way is likely to purchase it from his eBay listing.
He has a kit that includes headlights and wiper cover, or just one or the other.

I purchased mine from Richard 454 and installed them in 2022. They still work fine. I went to eBay and was amazed on how many vendors sell the conversion kits. Are they as good as the ones Richard 454 sells? I have no idea. I tend to not want to chance it and was convinced of the quality.
I have always heard that Richard 454 has great installation instructions. Have never heard or read one bad thing.
