I think the reason why they dropped the price on those kits because from looking at eBay there seems to be more kits than C3's.

Very affordable too
I stopped by the body shop that's doing my Cuda and they had a Corvette in there with one of those eBay kits and those actuators looked like they were installed a long, long time ago.

Does the hood need to be removed to install the headlight conversion?

No, it can be left on with a piece of cardboard to protect the hood. With that said it would be easier to do the install with the hood off.

How can I find your kit? @Richard454

Default Brackets

Hi Richard,

I have a quick question regarding the brackets for your headlight conversion. I bought your kit a few years back and seem to have lost the mounting brackets when I moved. Can I purchase the mounting brackets separately?

Thanks!
Mike

I have Richards kit for the wiper door and headlights, though not installed yet. It’s about 3 projects down the list as long as they are working.

It would probably be better and faster if you contact Richard454 via PM vs hoping that he will see your post here. GL

I did try to send him a PM first but it came back saying his PM's were full and would not accept the PM. I will try again though. I also had his email but it must be n old one as it bounced it back to me too.

EDIT: I was able to send him a PM finally.

The difference is knowing the difference between a good affordable answer and just simply throwing money at a problem with unknown results.
True, but when someone tells me they are a cheapskate I cringe. I know what's coming next.....

Is there a way to contact @Richard454 for this kit without private messaging? I just recently joined the forum and this feature is not active yet. I also looking for a reasonably priced kit to convert the wiper arm cover to electric in a 69.

The easiest way is likely to purchase it from his eBay listing.

He has a kit that includes headlights and wiper cover, or just one or the other.

I have always heard that Richard 454 has great installation instructions. Have never heard or read one bad thing.
