Is this diff repairable ?
That is a result of your usage, pushing these cars hard requires addressing the weak areas in the diff and IRS and modifying them to handle more than they were setup for.
Now since the QC of the period wasn't the best, some diff's held up to more abuse than others, but they all had issues. Pushing the car will show those issues all the time.
No disrespect meant, but you seem to be getting into an area with little experience and given the usage of the car you may want to stop and reevaluate your situation on what you can do and can't do within your garage.
I am surprised that posi unit even came out with that bearing race hanging inward like that!
Having built a couple of diffs, and one C3 version, I feel like I know just some of it's idiosyncrocies.
It seems to me that this may be your first time doing a diff, and I know the way you use your car, and I am not sure this is a good unit to learn on.
Because you exploded a part (side yoke) in there, this unit may have some damage that no normal diff re-builder would see.
I would strongly recommend that you send this to none other than GTR1999.
He is likely the premier expert on these diffs on the planet, is very humble, straightforward and fair.
And he is not only a machinist, he is the teacher, he trained machinists.
Your diff could be in no better hands!
I am sure he will look it over, and give you straightforward advice.

or are there different repair methods that qualified shop would do ?
So I need to ask questions to evaluate shops / people , and also understand the proper process to repair. Any guidance is very much appreciated.
Thanks....
I don't think I would machine that bore. If you don't have a snap gauge, deburr it and tap in the bearing from the other side. If it is a press fit still, you should be good.
Buy 2 new full complement bearings, a local bearing house can supply them. Use Loctite primer and #271 or #272 on the bearing and install it.
