Bleeders should they be Teflon or some type of paste to prevent leaking? for calipers. What is the difference between speed bleeder and stock style? What about bleeders lenght any difference?
Record yourself bench bleeding the master cylinder and bleeding the brake system. Upload it to YouTube, put the link here and we will tell you what you're doing wrong. Your inability to follow instructions is why you have 5 threads in 3 days about the same subject.
Without trying to read that tiny print from AI. I'll simply explain from 50 years of experience.
Bleeder screws do NOT seal by the threads. They seal by the tappered seat at the bottom. Thread sealer might be used a little if your getting massive leaking around the threads while reverse bleeding. But in no way do you need to seal the threads once they are tightened down. They seal on a tappered seat on the bottom!
So yes. They need to be the correct one's. A bit long probably wouldn't hurt. To short won't seal.
Speed bleeders have a tiny spring and check ball in them making them one way valves. They are for doing the 2 man method of bleeding with one man. They won't work at all for reverse bleeding. (Obviously).
The bleeder was leaking so i replaced it. Even with a little more tightening it still trickled over night not were it seals but thru the hole were the fluid comes out, I am on my third inward bleeder now it could be the caliper casting also leaking for i see it is not a Delco. (No Name) The bleeder that came with the caliper had white on the threads so there might have been a issue from the manufacture. As far as bleeding that problem with my hand bleeder worked fine but i never could get a clear stream without bubbles following the fluid out. The two-man method is a joke and a waste of time . I was preparing to use my motive when the bleeder screw started leaking.I in the past rebuilt my own calipers so i am not a beginer, Calipers were hard to find when i purchased the one only for the rear. I beleive i bought it from napa.and i took three times to get one to work. Now i know lone star hasthem so if i need one i will go to my Corvette friend for one, The Corvette Connection
I absolutely need reading glasses. And the print you put up is easily half the size of the rest of the print on here.
Not to mention, who gives a rats *** what artificial intelligence has to say.
