Default Headers for blueprint heads

What headers did you use on your aluminum blueprint heads. I'm putting a list of things I'll need for my new Blueprint engine when I put my order in.

This was asked here a year or two ago, only for iron heads, I took a pic of my Hedman headeers tag and posted it, may be different for aluminum heads plus mine is 7-8 years old now... Call them, ask to speak to a tech, they are real good about this stuff and will help you...

Default Headers for blueprint

I used flowtechs 11106 flt from summit
my engine is 38318ct1
436 hp
very cheap headers but my car isn’t driven all that much but really can’t complain about them

I’ve heard good things about the 31106 Flowtech headers too. Not sure if they’re any different than the 11106’s besides the finish, but they fit well in a C3.

Nothing different about Blueprint heads from anything else SBC, except the exhaust ports are .250” higher just like the AFR heads they are heavily based on.

Default BluePrint Cylinder Heads & Exhaust Sysrems

Hi Kevin LD , have a 1979 , C3, L48 engine ,, removed original cast iron heads about 5 years ago and fitted BluePrint Cylinder heads ( H8002K , 59504 ) , they matched up perfectly to a set of Hooker Long Tube Headers that had been on the car for many years previous , -- heads & hookers still performing well ..

Thanks everyone. The reason I asked is Blueprint recommended four companies who make headers for Blueprint engines that have Aluminum heads. Turns out three of them are really expensive and one is a shorty type header. looks like I might be able to just use my existing headers. They are old and I would like to replace them at some time, so this info is still good for me.

I went with Doug's because they have 3/8 flanges and perfect fit

I second the Doug's D350 also. They seem to have the best ground clearance out of all the header manufacturers.

Plus Doug's uses 3/8 thick flanges and most others use cheap 5/16. I like the picture you posted from under your car Skids up

Thanks, I'll check out Dougs product. But I'm sure mine won't look as good as yours does.....Wow that is clean.

As you plan for exhaust pipes, suggest insist on mandrel-bent pipes. You may have to ask/call around to find shop with that capability.
