I changed shifter plate on my 1977. Now power windows and dome light won’t work. I forgot to disconnect battery. While wrestling with the shift plate I heard a spark noise. Something grounded out. Is the power window relay located on left side drivers console brace?
is this the power window relay?

Yep, and there is a 30amp circuit breaker plugged into the fuse panel protecting the PW circuit, Top left...
I also see a exposed portion of the Orange wire, that may be part of the curtsey circuit. Check the CLK/LTR/CTSY fuse
That Orange wire I bet goes to your cig lighter...

yes that wire could have sparked on the relay. Thanks I will check fuse.

Wow your Very observant!!!!! It was the clock fuse that was blown. Fixed both issues by changing fuse. Windows and courtesy light works. Really appreciate your advice. Saved me lots of anxiety. 👍👍
Hope you insulated the open section of the Orange wire...
That CLK/LTR/CTSY circuit is HOT at all times...
I don't see a relationship between the PW circuit & the CLK/LTR/CTSY circuit...Happy it was a simple fix...

It seems odd but they must be tied in with courtesy lamp fuse. This car is original. I never would have guessed it was that fuse. Thanks Again

The reason I'm responding again is I didn't want to give you wrong information so I double checked the 77 Electrical Troubleshooting Manual, Same manual the technicians used at the dealerships back in the day...
I still don't see a relationship between the Curtsey circuit and the PW circuit...
It's more for future troubleshooting then anything else...
I dolled up this screenshot of the PW circuit...
Here is a little tidbit...
The PW drawing calls out for a 20amp Gauges Fuse, where the fuse panel calls out a 10amp fuse on the Switched side of the Circuit Breaker...
Also if your car was optioned with Cruise Control it also is part of the Gauges Circuit and calls out a 20amp fuse...
So do Non PW & Non CC equipped car only require a 10amp Gauges Fuse???
