And I stopped by the painter last night to see it's prgress and all that has happended is the Vette was moved to the back lot. :( not the painter's fault but Mother nature. It's rained for three days straight and I never thought about looking at the weather forcast prior to dropping off the car. And it's a beautiful three day weekend and I just went running at the beach and on the way back passed a nice TR-6 convertible and thought "man i miss my Vette" I could be cruising right now. :steering: And it looks like on Tuesday when the painter comes back from the weekend the stroms will start again. :skep:
timing is everything shipmate. I have been waiting for the storms to clear here for about ten days. The first nice day we get,...bam. The ignition coil decided to not support my war effort. I just got through replacenig it but i have missed my vette clubs scheduled criuse for today! But, atleast shes running.
I think we all get a little anxious when our cars are undergoing some sort of transformation. Mine will be out of hands for a half a day tomorrow and I am already feeling the stress. :skep:
I bugs me is it has sitten in some yard instead of my protective garage where it belongs and nothing has been done. If there is nothing the painter can do then it might as well be in my possesion. Actually today was beautiful and could have been a great cruise day.
Cheer up.. it took me 8 months to get mine back from the painter! Nothing I did seem to motivate him. However I'm glad he took his time because I'm very pleased with it. Hope you get it back soon! :seeya
