82 Strut Rods
The Factory Assembly Manual states install the strut with the outboard end toward the front. Are both ends symmetrical so all you have to do is install it in the strut carrier with the outboard end toward the front?

To be honest Im not sure. I went to strut rods with heim joints a long time ago but I do think the angle is the same. Place them on the ground with a long bolt through both ends to see if they are parallel.
I think the bushings at the diff end have a smaller bolt vs. the shock mount bolt diameter.
