71 Brake booster install

Default 71 Brake booster install
It is time to install new brake booster on my 71.
I bought a replacement booster that fits nicely but the brake pedal seems low.
The brake light switch doesn't even come close to touching the brake pedal as seen in the pictures.
Will the pedal rise up after installing the master cylinder and after I have bled the brakes completely?
I'm finishing a frame off restoration and everything has been refurbished or new, brakes have not been bled yet.

There is supposed to be clearance between the booster push rod and the master piston so bolting on master should have no effect on pedal height.

Do yo have the pedal rod in the right hole their are 2 holes on the brake pedal.
