Hello All,
Take a look at the attached video of my power steering control valve. Is there supposed to be this much movement on the stud attached to the pitman arm? Seems to be a lot?
Thanks
Thanks Rescue Rogers. I am talking about the whole control valve moving side to side. Trying to upload a video here, but can't figure out how to do it? It won't take an MP$ file format. Any suggestions?
If you look closely in the video, you can see that the movement is at the bottom of the ball stud that attaches to the pittman arm. There is a rubber bushing that sits at the bottom of the stud that appears to be wiped out. I believe it dissolved over years from a power steering fluid leak. Just not sure how much play that stud is supposed to have in it?
