Turn signal flasher unit 1980
I was going to replace the turn signal flasher, but noticed the capacitor attached, and also the replacement flashers don’t look like this blue plastic original. It just pulls out , right? I may be wasting my time , but somebody on the forum said it solved his mystery right front signal not flashing

I'm no expert on a 1980 car. But are you certain that's the turn signal flasher? That's the approximate location of the emergency flasher on my 77.

See, I'm no help. But before you spend any money, try swapping the 4 way flasher and turn signal flashers around.

Did you replace any bulbs with LEDs?
If so, you need to replace a few parts to make it all work. And you don't need that capacitor.
Conveniently enough, I replaced every bulb in my 1980 with LEDs, and documented it all as best I could in this thread:
