Default T-Top Velcro Rivets

Drilled out the rivets holding the Velcro fasteners to the T-tops on my 72 coupe. Some the rivets have fallen inside the cavity between the T-top inner and outer skins. They have added to various other pieces of detritus already in there rattling around. Any way to get these bits out without major surgery?

Thanks in advance.

Hello,
This happens!
Find a place that can take a drilled hole of about 3/4".
Locate it in a place that will be covered when you install the vinyl liner.
Then shake shake shake!!
Regards....

Yup, in one corner. I drilled about a 1inch hole. Gets out the weatherstrip pins and those rivets. Shaking and a shop vac.

Great advice, thank you! Adding the shop vac to the mix is a really good suggestion.

Hello F,
Be careful when you drill.... the outer fiberglass 'skin' is right there...quite close.
