Re: [Project Update] The Vettefinders Project (Chris@VetteFinders)
So, is the body off yet (part5) ?
So far, the condition sounds close to - but not as bad - as my 75 was.
I guess if you actually had to remove the body bolts to lift it, then that is a good sign.
I only had 2-3 bolts that were holding it down.

That's pretty cool. I love new projects. It sounds like you're undertaking a rather large one. Keep us updated, this should be interesting and exciting.

I can see what you mean, but we are definately not a "dealer". We don't buy and sell ourselves. We really just bought this car as a company car to drive. The thing was, I couldn't stand to not improve it. The "while I'm at it" syndrome took over again. :smash:
We're definately not looking to make money, but as you can see from the logos on the bottom of the pages, we do have sponsors paying or donating parts.
Re: [Project Update] The Vettefinders Project (Desertdawg)
Chris what part of the country did that Vette live??? What I see is typically what you find up here in the salt belt. I bought a frame out of Orlando and it had hardly any surface rust I thought down where you were at most frames would be in better shape. Looks like your well into the project. :)
Re: [Project Update] The Vettefinders Project (Chris@VetteFinders)
From the first set of pictures (part 1) the car looked great. But, I guess that goes to show how beauty can be skin deep on a vette and it pays to really go over a car to make sure you know what you are getting.
