I thought those were spot welded onto the transmission housing. It is on my 79. I realize mine is a different year, and maybe they changed over to a bolt on one in 80. I've never seen one for sale. If you find someone on the forum parting out a car, maybe they can drill the spot welds out and sell you the bracket. You could probably bolt it in from there. I hope you find one.
