Default 4.11 diff yoke bolt holes smaller than

my first issue. The bolt holes on the 4.11 diff yoke are not the same length ( Center to center ) as the bolts holes as the yoke that’s on my 3.36 diff yoke. Meaning, the retaining straps for the rear u joint holes don’t line up when I tried it slip the bolts in the 4.11 diff yoke. Now Im wondering what else isnt going to fit??

Im still fighting to breat the sombrero loose.
any thoughts please?

Two pinion yokes were used, 1310 and 1330. 1350 is also an available pinon yoke but never used from the factory.

1310 is narrower than a 1330 across the caps. 1310 use u-bolts to the u-joint, the 1330 uses straps and bolts.

If you have a 1330 driveshaft and the diff yoke is a 1310 you can get a conversion u-joint or replace the pinion yoke. In which case review replacing the pinion seal, which if not new you should do. Do it right and it doesn't leak oil and the bearings last. Do it wrong the preload will be too much- burn out the bearings OR too loose the pinion will crash into the posi case on the first drive.
