Van Steel rear trailing arm assemblies
Has anyone have an opinion on these.
I installed their front tubular control arm kit and am very happy.
It’s been thirty years since I had my rear trailing arms rebuilt.

The arm center to center is the same as a stock arm, just the point in between has a wider offset for wider tires. New USA made stock arms are as good as original, offset are more solid construction but depending on use that won't matter. If you're running a stock wheel and tire the standard arm is fine.

To add to this.....if you are using wider "tucked in" 15" to 17" rims then offset arms may be needed. If you are using 18" or larger wheels then offset arms are usually not needed. I recommend Bairs replacement stock trailing arms. Made in the USA (these are the ones most vendors are selling if they claim they are made in the USA). They are great to deal with. I asked if they could sell me a bare set (not powder coated) as I wanted to move the e brake cable guide from the side to the top. They left the brackets off so I could place them myself on top before final welding.
