After buying 2 different upper cooling hoses none of them fit my 1971 Small block with original A/C, PS, PB.
I have installed Champion radiator and both of the hoses are too short.
Did anybody come across similar situation? Any suggestions?

Do any of the new hoses match the prior hose?
Does the shape and position of the neck on the Champion radiator match the original radiator?
This is the "old" setup before restoration. Hose looks the same. Champion radiator already installed.
Unfortunately I don't have the "original" hose anymore.

You don't have the old radiator to compare the neck?
Try a 1977 Corvette hose.
That's what I ended up putting on my 68. I had to trim a skosh because it was too long so it may work for you. Just go to autozone and pick one up.... that way you can return it if it does not fit. Take your short hose and ask to see their 71 replacement and the 77 replacement...that way you can compare them in the store.

Maybe that champion radiator is for a big block and they sent you the wrong one.
Measure the width of the radiator.
I believe big block radiators are wider than a small block radiator.
Just a thought.
Your car has no a/c and a plastic fan shroud? shouldn't it be a metal shroud? Doesnt look like the fan sits in the shroud at all. Perhaps the shroud and Radiator are not correct?

The car was original A/C, but I deleted it.
Plastic fan shroud is original.
