And, that's due mostly to the fact that all new passenger vehicles' starters are of PMGR design.
No doubt there's an exception, although I'm not yet privy to it.

If you have the Wrong starter bolts, if there's No Knurl or Knurl placed in wrong position, or lacks proper size/taper. They may bolt up tightly, but they'll likely loosen.

* -addendum-
highly suggest anyone switching to modern PMGR PG260 starter, or considering, should download this TSB from REMY and read thru its short Two pages several times.. Paying close attention to pics and text about starter bolts' attributes.

Yes, car will not be moved until I receive the bolts I just ordered. Thanks.

Now to drop my gas tank and see why my car is getting gas to my charcoal canister.
