So, I found a plug wire resting against my long tube headers and its melted and charred. The engine in my C3 is a ZZ4 crate engine from the early 2000s. It has aluminum heads, RPM performer intake, holly 670 street avenger. I am looking at the MSD 8.5mm super conductor wire set and going to go ahead and get new spark plugs. As far as I can figure out, this car hasn't had a tune up for over 20 years. Any suggestions on what plugs I should be using with this setup and am I looking at an appropriate wire set? I will also be getting wire separators and routing them to prevent them from touching the headers again. Thanks everyone!
