I'd stay w/ organic friction discs if you can. I'm running a Ram Pro Street Dual Disc clutch w/ the 900 series metallic friction discs and its not nearly as forgiving as the organic disc equivalent. Very abrupt engagement that doesn't slip - very digital: on or off. Took some time to get used to it. There are plenty of good options at your power level as many have suggested here - just be aware of the unforgiving nature of a metallic disc whichever clutch you choose. Good luck!
I am a Believer in Centerforce clutches as I have a Stage 2 Centerforce clutch behind a L88 Clone and it holds really well. I was more concerned about pedal pressure and driving behavior around town.
The Centerforce clutches clamp even harder at higher RPM's and that has served my C3 well. The pedal pressure is very light and the clutch's grip is ferocious which is the way I like it.
A buddy had a 1987 Mustang GT and that clutch was a killer, I couldn't understand why they used that much pedal pressure to simply disengage the clutch.

I am still trying to decide, I have had good luck with the CenterForce I single disk for 20yrs, held 300 RWHP on my first warmed over L48 to my 400+RWHP 406ci and still took 500+ RWHP from current 427ci, go figure, with only one friction disk replacement recently. Thanks for all the good suggestions!

Yes I have that SFI approved flywheel but I think I am going to ditch it, seems the teeth are not close enough to starter and got minimal engagement resulting in a worn ring gear and worn stater teeth in less the 5,000 miles.

I did get a chewed ring gear with my old starter. When I got a Tilton, it took one shim to get perfect engagement. Been good ever since.
