At one time I had the ebay kit. It was OK. I can't imagine the Top Flight one would be much better, especially considering the price. I ended up changing my design for the dash and found a guy near Tampa that put real carbon fiber on the center panel and the center console. It was not cheap but it came out amazing.
That does look good. I have the doeskin interior too.. I just had black 80 20 loop black carpet installed . So I need to spruce things up a bit. .I wonder if your guy still has the dimensions.
No this isn't a laminate like the Ebay or Top Flight. They have their top laminate piece and then there is adhesive underneath it. I had to give him the pieces and he layered the carbon fiber on them and then finished it off. I gave him the center gauge panel and the top piece of the C4 center console to work with. Took him a few months. There is no peeling his stuff off, it is a part of the plastic itself. And it was little things, like the thickness of the CF had to be trimmed around the window switches so they could toggle properly, for example. Then sanding and another layer of resin. And do it again. Into it for a few hundred bucks, but with my completely custom interior it was the finishing touch. Like I said, I tried the ebay ones and they looked like the stick on ones they were, IMHO.
I couldn't see that much detail on my phone, I did see the change in the console. . I'll see how what I ordered. Looks. I just talked to a friend in Virginia and he said he could make me the pieces out of carbon fiber so I could mount the aftermarket gauges I bought years ago. . With the new carpet I .at just do that.
