My ‘78 has the standard 7/8” front sway bar and I’m wanting to replace the original bushings that mount the bar to the frame. I first bought the AC Delco ones but they didn’t fit well at all. Too tall and too narrow and with the center hole too large (perhaps this bushing is best for the 1 1/8” bar. I then bought the Moog pair that fit better, but the ends don’t even close when mounted and they don’t even fill out the bracket because they're so narrow like the AC Delco. I'd rather not reuse the originals from 1978, so does anyone have a brand & part number for a better replacement? Or does anyone think the Moog set is fine? Thanks for any help.

I bought a set of Energy Suspension 9.5112G sway bar bushings for my 82 and the slots for the bolts were way too big. My 82 has 1 1/8" sway bar. You might want to check carefully the slot size before ordering them.
Thanks to everyone for the suggestions. Yes, I bought both from Rockauto and the descriptions said they would work. Obviously, that’s not the case (they were also the only rubber bushings available when I ordered). I went ahead and ordered a pair from Bair’s and should have them in a couple days. Thanks again!
