Speedometer off
I have a 75' 4 speed and the speedometer shows a good 10 MPH faster than what It is actually going, thus causing the odometer to also add miles too fast. I am not sure what to check first, thinking it is part of the nylon gear being stripped or a broken clip. Is this the first thing I should be checking or has anyone seen this problem before?

If it's stripped it would read slower. That's not it.
