Electrical troubleshooting
So, where do you start with troubleshooting the electrical system? I have two headlights that wwork fine, but the radio, clock, heater, etc do not function. I assume that there is a problem with the wiring, but I'm not sure where to start. How do I know if the present wiring harness is delivering power to the devices without replacing the parts with new? I really hope I do not have to buy a brand new wiring harness.

Start out with the fuses and behind the bulk connector. Spray contacts with WD-40.
The clock, you might need to clean the relay contact inside the clock (looks like the ign. point contact).
About the radio, what do you mean? no power or powerd but no sound?
The heater, no hot air, no blower?
It would help, if we have some details of the problems. :crazy:

ok, so where do I check the ground? I have a feeling that is part of my problem. New motor (350/350) installed before I bought it and I have a feeling the grounds are not connected to anything, or are cross connected somewhere.

I assume you checked the fuse for the radio first and It's a stock radio. Remove the left access panel (forward console) to check for the power plug (3 wires, yellow, black and gray). Make sure it's plugged in the radio tight.
Also, check to see if you have 12V between the black and yellow wires, when Ign is on. If you got 12V, then the radio needs to be serviced!
