Default sts baffles

I'm going to get Jet-hot coated Hooker headers and sidepipes and I'm thinking about baffles. Does anyone know what the baffles are made of, stainless or what? Do you think it would be worth it to have the baffles jet-hot coated too? Or would it be a waste of money?

I'm not sure what the baffles are made from. I'm sure Jim can answer your questions though at http://www.spiralturbobaffles.com . I know the sidepipes I bought from him are chromed steel while the heat shields are polished SS.

STS baffles are made of cold steel. They cover with Carbon quickly and don't need to be stainless or coated. The sidepipes do have moisture in them every time I start the car though...

74- JCL is Jims forum user name, and STS stands for Spiral Turbo Specialties.
