Hey everyone!
I will be putting a 400 small block in my Corvette and I would like to find some Emblems like the 454s but I need ones that say 400. I know Pontiac made some "400" emblems. I am not looking to spend a fortune and used emblems are ok. I have direct access to a Re-chroming shop so I can make them look like new! Looking for around $15-$30 for a set. Anyone let me know if you can help me out. Thanks. :D
Yeah I have but I keep getting outbid!
Havn't kept close eye on it as of lately so I guess that will have to be my course of action. I am really kicking myself because I went to a swap meet in Feb. and didn't buy a set of "400" emblems from a Pontiac for $24! If I find the guy again I will be sure to buy a set.
Thanks for the Reply!
Chevy made 400 emblems too. Theres some on a 72 impala on my mail route. im gonna try and but that car one day for that block to do a build up. Ive also seen 400 emblems on older chevy trucks. One of my old friends has a 73 3/4 ton 4x4 that cam with a 400 and has the emblems on the fender.
I just looked at one of my Corvette Central catalogs. They sell emblems and single digit numbers incase one of yours is missing. I know they sell "4", "2", and "7." Not sure if they sell 0's alone. Give them a call, they probably have what your looking for. Theyre not too expensive either, about $30 max for a new emblem or set of 3 numbers.
the post is gone, but do you still make custom emblems? I realize this post is pretty old, but I still figured it's worth asking
The user you’re responding to hasn’t been active on the forum in over half a decade. There’s probably other ways to get custom badges made now though. You could make a new thread about it.

Volunteer Corvette sells peel-n-stick Corvette hood number emblems individually so you can put any number you want on your hood: https://www.volvette.com/SRCH.html?S...%20%26%20stick
I'm running a 407 in my '64 with a '67 big block hood, and have the "407" emblems in the location usually showing the "427" emblem. Looks "factory."

Edit -
Oh, crap, I just fell in the "responding to dead 23-year-old-post" trap. I'm an idiot. Hopefully a moderator will lock out this post.
