The instructions are eight pages in length. I do not have the web page capacity to post all eight. Any particular aspect of the kit that is key for you?
Directions in a nutshell:
Check stock timing curve to see which components you'll use.
Bring engine to #1 TDC and pull distributor.
Remove distributor gear and use shims to adjust end play.
Install weights, springs and vacuum advance unit.
Reinstall distributor.
Adjust timing. Readjust if engine pings during test drive or idles poorly.
Drive and smile!
Note: A timing light with adjustable advance is recommended. Sears (and others) sell 'em. Got mine on ebay for 35 bucks. Timing is set for 36 degrees BTDC (at least in my case) at 3500 rpm -- not at idle!
I got a reply back from Lars. The kits are $45, a bit more for international orders. He includes detailed instructions and offers full money back guarantee!
To order, send your name, address, phone number and vehicle application (including any modifications) with payment to:
Be sure to specify distributor type, ie HEI or other.
I sent mine to Lars and had him go through the whole thing. He said mine was in good shape to start with. He recurved it, put it in a engine on a dyno and set it up perfect. Best performance improvement for the $ I ever spent.
