Default Rear plenum drain

Finally got tired of getting my "stuff" wet. I checked out the rear plenum and found the drain hoses completely deteriorated. Simple enough, just replace the hoses right??
Not!
The hose clamps onto the plenum side but I don't see how they run through the inner wheel well.

Any suggestions.

The rubber drain hose is held in with a metal retainer and rivets from the wheelwell side. Remove the wheel and carefully drill out the rivets. Remove the retainer and disconnect the clamp from the box at the drain side. Reinsert the hose and rivet the retainer in place.

There should be a 1 1/4" or so hole in the fiberglass above the wheel well, just under the deck. (Look up) There should be a flat metal bushing (look like a big washer) rivited to that hole.... that your drain hose connects to. My 72 has drain holes on both sides of that plenum....don't know how many on your 70.
Hope I helped ya!
