What type of sump
I am currently building a 383, which should put out roughly 450hp. What type of sump would I need to put on to the engine. Engine will be be in a 68 vette with power steering. Or would the standard sump be good enough ie no windage tray.

The standard oil pan will work fine, but as long as you're throwing money at it why not step up to an aftermarket pan to keep the oil away from the crankshaft. The depth added by one of the street 7 quart pans is not a problem with ground clearance for most of the people running them. You wouldn't want to be losing potential horsepower on those hard accelerations or tight turns. :bb
