Reassembled the trailing arms over the weekend, and couldn't find the torque settings in the AIM or in my manual. Need to torque the spindle support studs & the parking brake anchor bolt on the rears and the spindle arm bolts & the brake caliper bracket bolt on the front.
Thanks - I'll post some pics of the trailing arms tomorrow
Re: Trying to find some torque settings (70BBvert)
Spindle support studs? Do you mean the bearing housing to T-arm studs? They have a 9/16 nut. 30 ft/lbs. I'm not sure what you mean about the parking brake. Steering arm to spindle bolts - 70 ft/lbs (3/4 nut or 11/16 on '63 to '68 cars). Caliper brackets should be at least 70 ft/lbs but I can't find the actual spec for those.
