Default SIDE PIPES??? or CHAMBERED???

Im thinking about some side pipes I want it to be loud but not obnoxious. What do you think in should get? I want to be louder than the super turbos and what fits the best? How does it fit under the rocker panels do you have to take them off? Teachers, parents, and the resource officer at school are complaining that my car is too loud ILL SHOW THEM WHAT IS LOUD :reddevil :reddevil :reddevil OR should i get chambered exhaust?

Better be carefu.. Johnny Law will cite you for noise pollution AND your school CAN and WILL prohibit you from driving your vehicle on the property.

(Speaking from experience from many moons ago)

Personally I love the looks and sound of a side exhaust though :D

I am running hooker headers with side pipes on my 69 (not original unfortunatly) Just cruzing along they are no louder than any other older sport car. Get on it and people will know.

I love the look and the sound. I will stay with side pipes.

mounting is not difficult as long as you have the right headers. I beleive I have 3 small L brackets per side holding the pipe on.

Only issue is, keep a towel in the back so your date doesn't burn her leg getting in or out or all hopes of getting anything for a while is shot. :cry

Sidepipes with no mufflers inside the pipes = 4" open exhaust. As I don't recommend this, it will surely be loud :yesnod: . You can then install the mufflers back into the sidepipes after you **** everyone off ;) .

I've had both - you can't go wrong with either. Chambered is the next best sound to sidepipes and is cheaper.

Either way, be careful since the last thing you need is more attention from the law and school authorities. :blueangel:
