im doing a harley gas tank and fenders for a guy right now,gold base with silver ghost flames then candy brandy wine over that then cleared .I love the look of ghost flames,but they look better when ther underneath the clear and a candy or transparent color done over that.personally i think it looks great all white. :D

On ghost flames
Very subtle ghost flames could look really good. Maybe a light silver. But they seem to be a bit overdone. However, white is also overdone. Both because they both look so darn good. With the nice curves and angles I would think ghost striping might look really good.
Pinstriping or thicker details but ghosted on could make it really stand out without being rediculous. Just an idea. I'd touch up some pictures and see if you like em before laying paint no matter how you think you should go.

I was going to comment on just how great of a painter you dad really is.
No Air hose, No breathing protection, No taped off windows....Just WOW !!!

Nice job!!! Now get it to the track and get some sticky rubber stuck all over the rear quarters. Might cut thru the wind faster with that super smooth finish.
