I believe some years had 3 screws, rather than the 2 on the sides that hold ours in. Guess it changed when the chrome went away...

check it out on a strech or unlit hiway at night.

what did you do with your reverse light sockets. I go a set and i found some replacement bolts for the licence plate that hwve clear tiny lights on them when i have them will post they do look great :cool:

Yeah, thats what it says but I screwed them right into the old lenses.
And they will work on a 76 because I had a 76 awhile back and I put them
on that Vette also.
