I noticed that there are no answers yet, but it would only be common sense to me for the pressure line to be the lower one just as the radiator to the block is. If it were reversed and your radiator was sorely low on water/anti-freeze then you would have the possibility of no fluid at all going to the tranny and just sucking air into the radiator cavity from the bottom up.
