My feeling is that if your mech fuel pump is 'tired' there is room for improvement with even a fresh mech pump. If it is a fresh, performance mech fuel pump already, less improvement.
A word of caution: Be careful with electronic fuel pumps. My brother torched his garage when he mistakenly broke a fuel line off at the electric fuel pump, the fuel spilled all over his garage floor and was ignited by a kerosene space heater (ie. with no way to stem the fuel flow, gravity took over). Pretty nasty. He was soaked in gasoline and was very lucky to not become a human roman candle; just some rash from the raw gasoline.

Well - I have a pretty new (1 year old) Carter 120 GPH fuel pump.. I was thinking in getting the Holley 140 GPH pump... I would like to see some dyno test results that compare mech. with electrical pumps...
Are you watching your fuel pressure throught the traps? That's where I got a clue. Less than 2 pounds wasn't cutting it for me.
That why I got mine :yesnod: Dont think you would see much difference on the dyno tho. not unless you are not getting enough fuel. but with your MPH, I doubt that

I don't have a fuel pressure gauge that is visible for the driver.. The only thing that I know is that - the higher the RPM are - the leaner I run...
