I would have guessed black but I think there were far more blues produced. However I do think that more cars are converted to black than any other color.
Is various shades of red,but should be DARK BROWN,there were zillions produced in the seventies,where have they all gone......i bet most of the red ones weren't that colour originally......john :chevy :boxing
After reading through these entries, I have decided to put a RED license plate on
the front of my car so that it can be considered a REAL Corvette.... :bs
As far as how they left the factory, red has NEVER been a very popular color on Corvettes or any other car. No doubt many Corvettes may have been changed to red, but if you think there are a lot of red Corvettes that would probably be selective perception. My '72 is wearing its original Mille Miglia red and of the other Corvettes I've seen driving around my part of town...no other reds.
