I can get you some good old made in Detroit quality rotors for 60.00 a piece. I am pretty sure you won't find a better price. These are the same one's i will be offering on my website. Let me know.
Don't can ALL overseas parts. Remember that ALL C4 and C5 Corvettes have their master cylinders and calipers made in Australia. The rotors are made in Brazil, I think. There is a company in Sydney, Disc Brakes Australia, that makes world class rotors, but they are too dear for OEM. However, they make aftermarket C4 and C5 rotors that are as good or better than any other you'll find. At the moment, they don't make C3 rotors, but if enough of you guys e-mail them and convince them that there is a market, who knows?

Aussiejohn, I stand corrected about my choice of words, using "imported" certainly was not specific enough to be proper. A lot of the cheaper rotors and other steel parts we seem to get stuck with are coming from China which is what I should have said. I had a problem with rear shock mounts from there, the threads pulled right off at about 40 pounds of torque, should be torqued to 80 pounds. Imagine the steel being soft enough where these things shear off going down the road. I've talked to many people who have had bad experience with other Chinese parts as well. Hope you weren't offended.
Bad news, I just talked to my supplier. He said that they are importing there rotors from guess where? China. They were using a manufacture here in Detroit. He apparently went belly up due to the bad economic times. That sucks. :( I will say this though. I have used the imported rotors several times. I personally have not had a problem. Has anyone else out there had trouble with these? I would like to know. I am going to hunt down an American source for rotors. I will keep you guy's posted. I think i will offer both on the corvetteworks.us website.
