How do you remove the inner pillar mouldings?
I have a 79 that needs a new coat of interior dye, I have resprayed most plastic bits and the results are exceptional, however I can not for the life of me work out how to remove the windscreen pillar mouldings on the inside!! I removed the T top trim, the trim along the top of the windscreen but I can not get these out? Anyone ever done this? :crazy:

After removing the screws and with the tops off, just rotate the moldings slightly and they should slide upwards and out very easily.

As has been pointed out, you need to rotate, and slide the mouldings up past the dash pad. Be gentle, as they will come out easily, but if forced, can crack.
