Too many things need modification1(rant)

I just added a wheel to a string trimmer(weed wacker) Now it cuts at the height i like and half the weight is on the wheel(less tiring).
.
Am now cutting the straps on new beach sandals to make them adjustable with velcro. This will take 3 hours. i wonder how much $$$ they saved by eliminating the adjustment, and the ankle loop?
.
Even my keyboard is full of mods. I added 1/2" to the enter key so i can find it with the palm of my hand without looking down.
.
Oh, i had to cut the elastic out of socks that were too tight!
.
So let's hear your other mods!
.
(moderators, please give this a day or 2 and switch to OT, Thanks)
I bought a 90 year old house. My queen size boxspring was too big to fit up the stairs. I had to saw the frame in half then screw in extra pieces of wood to hold it together again.
I'm going to have to replace the cheap, plastic peg things in all my bookshelves with home made aluminum brackets and screws because God forbid anyone designs a decent-looking bookshelf that's actually engineered with the strength to to hold more than 5 or 6 BOOKS on the freakin' shelves!
I put a small Schneider Cams Iron Cross decal on my lawn mower--a couple of small Accel stickers, too. I must be making 5.1 HP at the crank now! I need to get a NOS sticker to really make some power, though. Too bad it's not a Honda--I'd be slapping "Type R" and "V-TEC" stickers all over that bad boy...

Dog chewed one of my daughters prom slippers. a little tape, some sanding, and paint it with a brush dipped in white house paint... looked good from 3 feet away.
Turned my jacuzzi upside down, added 2 shut off valves and fixed a leak.
Added a shelf to the wifes Armour, I used real brackets and screws for this one, so I don't know if it qualifies??????
Wired up a new GFI plug for the bathroom.
So far no blood, or autopsies needed, been a good week so far...
