My Corvair was a HUGE hit at the Fly-in/car show we had at the local airport last Sunday! I got a call last Wednesday (basically last minute) from the guy putting it on (first annual) and he wanted some muscle cars to show alongside some old Packards, a Rolls, a Pierce Arrow, etc... We took the Vette, BOSS and Monza out (along with a GT350 and a real nice '70 SS Camaro that belong to some friends) and had a blast.
It's the first time I ever took the Corvair to a show, and that rear engine thing just had 'em gawkin' On another note for you motorcycle guys, there was a guy there with an unrestored, running 1916 Yale. That thing cost him 25K  for a little 'ol single cylinder 7 horse cycle! Makes vettes look affordable..
