Oil pan leak problem
Alright I have taken in my car to my mechanic three times now to get teh oil leak fixed. Each time it gets a little bit better but it is still enough of a leak to be worried. I have a Moroso 7qt. pan. on a 454. And it only seems to leak form the back. Does any one have any ideas on how My mechanic and I should fix this problem?

The one piece gasket does help, but it also tends to leak, namely in the joints like between the timing cover and block. You STILL need to hit those corners with a good dab of silicon. I didn't, and my nice expensive one piece leaks worse than before.

I sure hope I put enough RTV on mine when I replaced it cause I didn't spend the money for the one-piece. So far no leaks, but who knows what will happen. Hope I don't have to fix it again.
