I just got done reading the post about C3's being the most popular amongst our criminal population. :reddevil Other than keeping in a garage what kinds of precautions do you take?
i just leave my empty gun holster laying on top of the dash and let the would be car thief wonder where the guy who owns the gun might be. PS i have a permit to carry
I have a silent alarm radio pager and a hiden cut off switch for my electric fuel pump. Don't think it would stop a pro but it gives me some piece of mind.
I just have a switch that kills the neutral safety switch, can't start it with the key, but I don't know if it'd be easy to hot wire it anyway... I want to do something a bit more substantial this summer when I have time to experiment.

PS at the moment my horrible paintjob is my best defense!!
I have a damn good dog at Home, car in garage, battery is always unhooked w/a piece of the connector missing, keys hid in the house, and like Clem; I DO have a permit to carry. :yesnod: :yesnod: :yesnod: :yesnod:
I also have a kill switch, it is wired for engine kill, if I told you where it is I might have to kill you :boxing JK, I'd just rather not disclose the location, as a precaution. Maybe talk to a local mechanic or electrical shop for ideas of where you can hide it and how to wire it up, that's all I did.

Since I have a daily driver, the vette only sees joyrides to work or on the weekends. I have a CLUB that I use when I park it. I know they are defeatable, but what isn't? I've been meaning to put in a battery disconnect or at least a switch for my elec. fuel pump, but that's been kinda low on the priority list.
I use one of those pedal locks. A LOT harder to get around than a club. Baically the theif would need a grinder to cut through the thing which means a lot of noise while his back is exposed. Not a position theives like to be in.
