Let me start off by asking this: "Has anyone else noticed that star dumba_s is married?" Let's hope he doesn't have any urges to reproduce, OR that he has a very intelligent woman to help bring jr(s) up to par.
As for the long fingernail. Uhhhhhmmmmmm, for snorting crack lines perhaps? I lost ~1/8" off my right pinky and intentionally grow that nail "juuuust a bit outside" (sorry, baseball season again) because I no longer have the pad of skin that keeps it from "zinging" me if I give my finger a nice direct touch. One of my drill sergeants in the Army asked if it was for doing crack, that's how I know about the whole drug thing.
Let's hear it for the ricers! Forever and always may they be the dumbest people I know  :D
not defending the guy, but i dont think it was 100% his fault. that was a launch controller, not a rev limiter, and he did an awesome launch killing the M3. Icould tell it was racing. the eclipse was a 97+ and the 2nd gens have bad crankwalk which can easily cause this while racing. was he a intellectual for doing it on the street? yes. will mommy and daddy buy him a new motor? probably but hopefully its the 6-bolt motor, not the 7-bolt. would this have happend to anyone who raced it? probably if they didnt know the crankwalk symptoms.
reason i say crankwalk is because he wasnt using nitrous, and i dont know anything else that can cause that besided a severe overboost which probably just would have blown a head gasket. not trying to start a fight, but if your gonna make fun of him do it for the right reasons
Crankwalk usually exhibits itself by clutch problems/difficulty engaging gears, especially making a left-hand turn, believe it or not. I have been very mindful for crankwalk on my 2g. http://www.roadraceengineering.com/w...crankshaft.htm
Would love to stick a 6-bolt in mine, but I'll see how long this 7bolt holds up. :)

what did they DO to blow the motor up like that?!
I saw a guy intentionally trash a Turbo T-bird motor once in a parking lot. He had to stick the pedal to the floor for about 7-10 min with the car in park before the engine let loose. And it wasn't bouncing off any rev limiter. Don't know the reason for him doing it ( I speculated it was either going to be repo-ed, soon to be ex-wife was going to get custody of it, or maybe he paid for a reapair on it that he wasn't happy with).
I was just impressed it took so long to let loose!
1. Start with some heat by adding a BMW M3 to the pot
2. Add the rice – a Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX with a crankwalk
3. Add two crack junkies (if crack junkies are in short supply, they may be substituted with nose pickers)
4. Turn up the heat with a few insults
5. Bring the water to a rolling boil so everyone can hear it
6. Stir vigorously maintaining a minimum of 7000 RPM
7. Stop stirring when rice flies out of pot
8. Ask Mommy and Daddy to clean up the mess
9. Serve hot with 10W30 on black pavement
