Chevrolet Power Book - Question
I wanted to get a copy of the "Chevy Power" book always refered to here on CF. I looked online, and what-do-you-know... they have different editions!!! Can anyone tell me the edition(s) that contain useful items about the C3 corvette?

Re: Chevrolet Power Book - Question (75 BBC Stingray)
Jeg's or Summit carries "How to Hot Rod Big Block Chevy's" and I've found it VERY useful and even deals with late model Gen V and Gen VI motors.
I HIGHLY reccomend this book, it's about $20 if I remember right.

Re: Chevrolet Power Book - Question (75 BBC Stingray)
I guess I need a new one. I think mine is a 5th Edition from 1984.
It has a lot of information on the Corvette Chassis.
If I need a new one please let me know too. Jim

Go to the "misc" section. You will find it in the "menu" column of the left side.
Now click on "Chevy Power Book on Corvette - In PDF format (caution: over 8 megs!)" and you will have a scanned copy of the old Chevy Power Book section that discusses C3's. It is a little rough, but quite legible.

Re: Chevrolet Power Book - Question (PROSOUTH)
PROSOUTH / COREY 68
Thanks for the quick replys. I am really thinking more about an older version. From what I would tell, the editions go so:
1st edition: 1975
3rd edition: 1978
4th edition: 1980
5th edition: 1984
6th edition: 1988???
So I was thinking that an edition in 1975 / 78 / 80 would probably have some interesting stuff on the C3 as well (especially if they still had stuff in 1984...)
Anyone have different editions????

The edition that is found on the corvettefaq website is the 5th edition, which I have printed out. I was wondering if the other editions might have more info... I am mainly interested in the suspension / chassis mods.

Be sure -if you haven't already- check out the article entitled "Vette Improvement Program - PDF Article by John Greenwood" which can also be found on that site in the "suspension" section.
John Greenwood built and drove some seriously fast C3's back in the day.

Re: Chevrolet Power Book - Question (45ACP)
Thanks for the info. I've already been through the corvettefaq site pretty extensively though, and found that article. I would like to find a better scan however...
Thanks to Norval, I now can add the following info:
Edition #4 also has corvette info - offset trailing arms
Edition #3 is advertised as having handling and vehicle dynamics
So these are two other books I need. :D

Have your book... How do I contact you?
Hi there! I have that book for you... How do I contact you? I'm in Idaho and I have the 3rd edition chevy power you can have.. Pay shipping... Just keep me in mind if you come across anything 280zx related. It was worth it just to bring my zx to a vett forum. Lol!
