Engine Problems

I just replaced the power steering control valve and I restarted the car to adjust it. The car backfired after about 2 seconds of idleing and stalled out. Now, when I try to start it back up it won't fire, and it (unfortunately) sounds like a piston is hitting something. Anyone have any idea what the problem could be?

I'd say to pull the plugs and look for anything funny looking, then if it's a HEI check the module. :seeya :flag
