Default Zero Tolerance brake piston users

Just curious if anyone (besides me) had to grind the bore of a stainless steel sleeved caliper just below the sleeve so the ZTI pistons would bottom out in the caliper?? My calipers are so bad I had to grind all 16 bores and one bore was not even round enough to accept the piston, that caliper half went back for an exchange. ...redvetracr

I have installed a few sets of the o-ring kits. It seems some of the people sleeving these units do not take the time to locate the bore center . I have had some sets that were centered and some that were not .

I did the same with my SS lined calipers. A little Dremel and all is well. Been using them for about 5 years and no problems with rear wheel pumping.

Yep. that is what I did. As mentioned, some bores were worse than others.
