Re: electric fan users-pusher or puller? (patsnitrovette)
When mounted behind Radiator, the fan must be a puller, obviously, like the stock mechanical thing would be....
I am told for airflow, pullers are more efficient than pushers from the front....I dunno why necessarily, but there is no room for a fan in anything approaching a stock hood setup....so it's a moot point...
Re: electric fan users-pusher or puller? (mrvette)
ok gene thanks thats what i thought, i took it to work yesterday and got stuck in traffic and it went to 210 sitting there, when i got home i noticed it was set for pushing,so i swapped it to pulling(reversed polarity).Well see tommorrow how it works when i take it to work again.
Re: electric fan users-pusher or puller? (patsnitrovette)
It should be pull to draw the cool air from infront of the car, instead of push the hot air from the engine compartmet through the radiator and fights against the air flow when the car is moving.

Dual fans - Pushers... Flex-a-lite Consolidated model 230 pushers in front of an aluminum griffin and stewart high flow pumping Purple Ice, a little coolant and pure H2O.
I expect it to keep cool.
I will get to hear the new 383 for the first time late next week.
