Purchased a set to prevent wheel theft and there is one for each wheel. The question is can I take off one lugnut and put it on or do I have to loosen them all and then tighten all down together.
My concern is if I don't loosen them all it may cause them to loosen when I'm driving?
Dude, you should be able to take just the one off and replace it. Be sure to torque the lock down the same as the regular nuts. There is no need to take them all loose, unless you feel compelled. Nice Vette!!! :seeya
Yeah, just take the one off and torque the new ones on. Don't go over 65FTLBs on aluminum lugs (learned this by experience)...use the torque reading on the package if there is one.
Just take off the one. Other wise you will get a bad case of "while im at it" then the wheels come off, break pads replaced, calipers checked, roters turned, bearings greased and then you will get a good look at that suspension.... Yeah, you better just take off one.

Been There, Done That!!!! My whole front suspension was removed "...while I was at it..."  :jester

Oh yeah. Did that over the past few weekends. Plans were to simply repack the bearings, but ended up dis-assembling and cleaning the entire suspension, rebuilding calipers and flushing entire brake system, etc......
