I was thinking about them, so I read all the archives on them and the ones from Eckler's ( I think) . The latter attach with Velcro. The ones from Corvette America use the standard holes to mount. Here's the link and a pic (but it looks like their on a C4) http://www.coriliketospam.com/main.c...r=963624493552
From what I've read, people love them. I saw a set on ebay a month ago that I almost bought (they are a low priority at this point) and the description said that they keep out 98% of the rain, so it sound like they might leak a little, but then again, so do my t-tops LOL!
I used it for one summer but it has some drawbacks. They mount with velcro that you have to stick on your car. The velcro looks bad when the top is not on. The worst part is that you can not use your t-tops, the velcro prevents them from going on your car. The old "raincoats" that mount using your existing t-top mounts haven't been made for years, but every once in a while you can find a set on ebay. I did and it set me back a couple hundred bucks.

your link does not work.
What I am doing is I was going to make my own. I can make a steel frame that folds up when not in use. My mother does a lot of sewing, so she will make the covers out of soft leather. when I get the set done i will post some pics. We are also making a briefcase that will hold the ttops. they will be in separate compartments, so they cant be scratched up. easy to open and easy to carry. I should have a proto type be next weekend.
rats! Ok, I've tried to get the link to work several ways, but it won't seem to link.
Here's the site to check out:corvette america web site ( can't put the URL in, must be a non sponsor vendor, but they are the only one's I've seen carry these.) . Click on 'enter' under the vistors section. You can either search or navigate to the page. They show these fitting 78-82(don[t understand whay the pic looks like a C4), so you'd need to choose a model year in that range from the drop down box. If searching, type "raincoats", if navigating, it's under the accessories tab, then choose raincoats from the drop down menu.
I didn't realize that they were for only these model years, but I know with some modification tops seem to interchange. You might want to contact them about it. Also, these don't mention anything about velcro. The description of the ad mentions a weather seal that I think is attached to the tops.
I had a pair in the 80s when they first came out for my 82'. They were the none velcro type. I loved them. This was discussed before. If I keep my car, I WILL get another set (non-velcro).
