Hey, I want a MacGuiver award too! I used...chocolate wrap to keep nuclear waste away from the break lines. :D
 You've seen that episode too? When I saw that years ago, I was thinking, yeah, sure.

Angel:
The 255/60's should fit just fine. I had 225/70's on my 79 and changed over to 255/60 in the rear and 245/60 in the front. I could probably have fit the 255/60 in the front but the factory used to trim the fender slightly to get 255/60's to fit and I didn't want to mess with it. I've heard others say that it's not necessary, but I had to order my tires at the time and didn't want to take the chance.

Hehehe... That was a long long time ago! If I remember correctly, he stopped a melt-down with chocolate wrap or something like that. I used to think that everything he did had a scientific explanation.... :conehead
