I've been lurking awhile, poring over the FAQs and tech posts, so I thought I'd intro myself. I "retired" from 27 years of motorcycling and bought a 3 owner, '81 automatic with 51k miles, or at least that's what Carfax says. It's dark metallic blue with blue cloth interior.
Recent maintenance includes new tires(the GY Eagle GT+4s on it were made in '86!), new SS brake calipers/hoses/master cylinder, and tune up. It was only hitting on 7 cyls, so new plugs/wires/cap/rotor/ign advance took care of that.
I'm looking forward to reading more tech posts and, hopefully, adding my 2 cents where possible. This, from a former musclecar owner, including:
1966 Mustang 2+2 w/351C(did it myself); 1967 Mustang coupe w/Boss 302(yep, again); 1969 Mach 1 428CJ; 1970 GTO; 1970.5 Z28 Camaro; and several V-8 and turbo Datsun 240Z cars...
Do you think I'll qualify to hang out here? :yesnod:

:seeya to the new guy. Glad to have you "officially" on the forum. Sounds like you have plenty of speed experience so you should be able to contribute without a problem. Pictures, do you have any pictures?
